Community-Based Mental Health (SMBC) is a model of mental health care that places the community at the center of care. It recognizes that mental health is influenced by various social, economic, cultural and environmental factors, and that the community has a fundamental role in promoting the mental well-being of its members.

It is a way of looking at and caring for mental health from a collective perspective, of group care, unlike approaches that are individualistic, focused on the pathologization of life and focused on medicalization.

Individual Psychotherapy is a safe and confidential way that you can explore your emotions, thoughts and behaviors in depth. During sessions, we will work together to identify and understand the challenges you face, developing insights into more adaptive thinking and behavior patterns, building effective strategies for dealing with specific issues. 

My goal is to provide emotional support, promote self-knowledge and enable you to develop skills to deal with present and future challenges. Past should stay in the past. Individual Psychotherapy can help you overcome emotional difficulties, improve relationships, strengthen self-esteem, compassive habits and promote greater emotional and mental well-being.

MODALITIES

Service Modalities

The psychotherapy sessions are live video conferences throught Google Meeting or Zoom. It allows you to access conveniently a confidential psychological support in the comfort of your home, or location of your choice that keeps your privacy, facilitating access to care even in situations of physical distance.

 

Therapy sessions and consultations take place in my office, providing a safe and supportive environment to explore emotional and personal issues. For those with communication challenges and need for an in site care and more immersive therapeutic experience and needs.

 

This modality offers longer, more focused therapeutic sessions, generally over a shorter period of time (2 days, divided in 4 periods of 3 hours). Ideal for those who have very limited time seeking fast progress or wanting to dive deeply into specific issues, intensive care can speed up the therapeutic process and provide faster results.
